A native Chicagoan, Dr. Kamal Vaid, D.C., proudly serves as the Director of Clinical Operations and as a Chiropractic Physician at East Bank Wellness, located in the heart of River North in Chicago.
After earning his bachelor's degree in Community Health & Wellness and Physiology from Northeastern Illinois University, Dr. Vaid went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree from the National University of Health Sciences. While studying medicine along with a concentration in Functional Neurology, Dr. Vaid developed an interest in the integrative approach of emerging fields of medicine such as evidence-based practices, preventative medicine, Functional Rehabilitation, Functional Medicine, Strength & Conditioning, and Acupuncture.
In addition to Dr. Vaid's degrees, he also holds a certification in Functional Rock Tape therapy and has training in pre-and post-surgical rehabilitation, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Functional Neurology, Functional Rehabilitation, Functional Medicine, Diagnostic Ultrasound of the Musculoskeletal System, Strength & Conditioning and Acupuncture.
Outside of serving his patients, Dr. Vaid's interests include researching neurological and autoimmune conditions, reading, collecting antiques and watching movies. He also enjoys staying physically fit and is very passionate about educating communities regarding Chiropractic and Functional Medicine. Dr. Vaid hopes to spread the word of this powerful form of healthcare.
